Metaloom weaves longform, evolving patterns across six independently programmable parameter sequencers: Pitch, Velocity, Length, Chance, Octave, and Mute. Each lane features pattern length, playback direction, range, randomization behavior, and bar-based reset, allowing for intricate interlocking variations. Patterns can be extended up to 512 bars, with global rate control via rhythmic multipliers and divisors. Sequences are derived from origin patterns, which are then transformed through controlled randomization at set intervals to generate dynamically evolving yet musically-phrased compositions. With global overrides for direction and reset, and features like weighted mute randomization and octave offsets, Metaloom is built to generate extensive, shifting arrangements that retain structure while avoiding repetition.
