A unique, responsive, all-in-one Audio-to-MIDI device, X-Translate is designed by Ableton Certified Trainer Noah Pred to easily and instantly convert audio from any source — audio clips or live input — into approximate MIDI note data in real-time to drive any virtual or hardware instrument at your disposal.

With two translation modes and multiple algorithms, X-Translate provides precise, musical audio-to-MIDI conversion. Melody mode captures expressive pitch movement, while Drums mode delivers dependable transient-triggered MIDI for beats, layers, and resynthesis. Flexible timing, scale awareness, and responsive translation controls keep results tight and musical, while input- and output-shaping ensure clean tracking and creative rhythmic phrasing.
